Cancellation Policy

Wandermile’s cancellation policy is based on the kind of trip that you take with us. In any case, Wandermile representatives must be notified regarding the cancellation of the trip in writing. Refunds will be based on the time we receive the notification and the kind of trip as detailed below.

Weekend trips (2 to 3 days’ long trips)

In case of weekend trips, we generally take a 100% advance on the trip. In case you are not able to make it to the trip after making the payment, do send us an email notifying the same as soon as possible.

In case of cancellation made in advance of 10 days from the start of the trek/trip, the customer is eligible for an 80% refund or 80% discount on another trip of the same nature within the next 12 months. (In case of difference in the cost of the trip, the customer is liable to pay the same)

In case of cancellation made in advance of 5 to 9 days from the start of the trek/trip the customer is eligible for a 50% refund or a 50% discount on any future trip of the same nature and cost, within the next 12 months.

In case of cancellation made within 4 days from the start of the trip, no refund is applicable. However,the customer will get a 20% discount on any of the future trips of the same nature and cost within the next 12 months.

Long Trips (more than 4 days)

In case of long trips, we usually take a non-refundable deposit to confirm the trip and this amount may vary from trip to trip. In case the customer is unable to make it to the trip after paying the advance, there will be no refund. The customer will get a voucher which enables them a free weekend trip with Wandermile within 12 months from the original trip date.

In case of cancellation after paying the full amount, the following refund policy applies:

Cancellation before 1 month

Customer is eligible for 80% refund of the balance amount after deducting the non-refundable advance.

Cancellation between 2 weeks and 1 month

Customer is eligible for 50% refund of the balance amount after deducting the non-refundable advance.

Cancellation between 1 week and 2 weeks

Customer is eligible for 20% refund of the balance amount after deducting the non-refundable advance.

Cancellation within 1 week

Customer is not eligible for any refund.

Note:

Opting for the alternate trek/trip post cancellation depends on the availability of the seats and on prior intimation only.

Wandermile reserves the right to change the itineraries, dates of the trip/treks, group or people, based on the conditions suiting. Wandermile reserves the right to accept/decline any individual participants for its trek/trip.

If a trip must be delayed or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, airline schedules, sickness, or other contingency for which Wandermile or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays and/or other changes are the responsibility of the participant
